Jason the Usher
On a stranger note. This is one of the ushers at the wedding. Undecided on what to wear for the big day, he almost opted for this strange look. He thought he looked like Jimi Hendrix. We thought he looked more sinister. Sort of camp as row of Al Quaeda tents.
Ahhh the sound of Wedding Bells
Just got back from a friends wedding. A great time was had by all and the Bride looked beautiful. The wedding was in Sonning on Thames very home counties: Pimms, crocquet and single occupant 4x4's filling the country lanes.
Flesh Eating Monsters
As some may know, we are off to Berlin in a month's time to Show "Ere be Dragons" at the First Play Festival, and we have decided to create new costumes for our performers.
This came about when we realised that Dragons are not a culturally universal symbol of the unknown fears that lurk in our collective memories. In Germany children are kept awake at night with tales of Flesh eating monsters. So we thought we needed a more generic costume.
So here's an idea from my sketch book. Trying to get the balance between spooky and cuddly. Hmm!
